Saad Al Rubaiaan, chairman of the Kuwait Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates confirmed to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Council held a meeting with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) to discuss all ways of cooperation between the two parties. The main focus during the meeting was the exchange of information and data about Kuwaiti companies operating in the emirate of Sharjah.
This came on the sidelines of a business breakfast hosted by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) to review ways of consolidating trade ties between the private sectors in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Kuwaiti business community.
Al Rubaiaan said, “The Kuwait Business Council will work in cooperation with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) to update the Council’s database about Kuwaiti companies and establishments operating in Sharjah in various industrial, commercial, and professional fields”.
He added that the Council seeks to promote the presence of Kuwaiti businessmen in Sharjah and serve them to grow their businesses in the Emirate. “We would like to thank Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) for their great cooperation in this domain,” he said.
The Kuwait Business Council was established last year under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber as an independent non-profit organization that aims to enhance the experiences, opportunities, and trade relations for Kuwaiti businessmen, professionals, and companies operating in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
